At the centre of the temple top is a large inverted bell-shaped stupa enshrined on a circular base. On its symmetrical beauty, some decorative stucco patterns are still visible. No doubt, this is the most important structure, the destination of everyone who travelled to this place of worship.
ณ จุดสูงสุดกึ่งกลางของวิหาร คือ พระสถูปเจดีย์ทรงระฆังคว่ำขนาดใหญ่บนฐานทรงกลม รูปทรงสมส่วนงดงาม ที่ยังพอมองเห็นลวดลายปูนปั้นประดับอยู่บ้าง ไม่ต้องสงสัยเลย นี่คือ สิ่งสักการะสูงสุด จุดหมายของทุกคนที่เดินทางมายังศาสนสถานแห่งนี้

The common belief to build stupa as the 'representative' or 'remembrance' of the important person such as Lord Buddha, had been well established even before the pre-Buddha era. It was indeed long before the later popularity to build the symbolic Buddha image.
คติความเชื่อในการสร้างพระสถูปเพื่อเป็น 'ตัวแทน' หรือ 'เครื่องระลึก' ถึงบุคคลสำคัญ ในที่นี่ก็คือ องค์พระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า นั้น กล่าวกันว่า ไม่ได้มีมาแต่ครั้งพุทธกาล แต่เป็นก่อนพุทธกาลด้วยซ้ำ และ แน่นอนก่อนที่จะมีการสร้างรูปเหมือนหรือพระพุทธรูป
After climbing up the first steep stairs from the temple's east entrance, we reached an expansive grass yard with traces of past structure's brick foundation were still visible. I'm not sure this area was originally a roofed building or not. If we faced the stupa which had another steep staircase going up, on both left and right were the entrances to the part that looked like a Thai temple's cloister. But this murky walkway looked like a cave with many Buddha images lined up according to its name's origin. There were also many staircases from that passage going up to the courtyard around the stupa.

จากทางเข้าทิศตะวันออกของวิหาร พอขึ้นบันไดชันช่วงแรกแล้ว จะถึงลานหญ้ากว้างที่มีร่องรอยฐานก่ออิฐของสิ่งก่อสร้างในอดีต ไม่แน่ใจว่าเดิมบริเวณนี้เป็นอาคารมีหลังคาหรือไม่ แต่ถ้าหันหน้าเข้าหาพระสถูป ซึ่งมีบันไดชันอีกช่วงหนึ่งขึ้นไป สองข้างซ้ายขวาจะเป็นทางเข้าส่วนที่เหมือนระเบียงคดในวัดบ้านเรา แต่มีลักษณะทึบเป็นคูหาเหมือนถ้ำ ซึ่งมีพระพุทธรูปจำนวนมากเรียงรายเต็มไปหมดตามที่มาของชื่อสถานที่ ภายในคูหานั้น ยังมีช่องบันไดสำหรับขึ้นไปยังบนลานรอบพระสถูปได้อีกหลายช่อง
